About UsEstablished by an act of Parliament in July 1997, Anglicare Victoria was formed through the amalgamation of three of the State's most experienced child welfare agencies. About Us sectionAnglicare Victoria supports more than 50,000 vulnerable children, young people and families every year. We help people overcome their immediate crisis and offer hope for a long-term solution to their problems. We provide a range of programs including foster care, food and material aid, care for children with disabilities, family and financial counselling, assistance for victims of child abuse and neglect, parenting advice and support, residential and crisis accommodation for young people, and advocacy.
