About the event

POSTPONED

Thank for your ongoing support of AV. AV is closely monitoring developments in relation to the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and we are acting on the advice of health authorities and The Department of Health and Human Services.

Given the current climate AV will postpone upcoming information sessions, that are held in person.

In order to continue to service the community, we are finalising online options available for all stages of the Foster Care Recruitment process, including the initial Foster Care Information Sessions we run in the Community.

Updates on how to attend our information sessions will be communicated in coming days. If you have already registered for the upcoming sessions, we will be in contact with you shortly

The Department of Health and Human Services is the best source of up-to-date information and advice for Victorians. If you are concerned, call the Coronavirus 24-hour hotline on 1800 675 398.

Can you offer a child in need a home-cooked meal, a warm bed and the security of an adult’s care?

More foster carers are desperately needed to fill the gaps for respite, emergency, long term and short term care situations.

Carers come from all walks of life and can be working, at home full time, single, in a long-term relationship, male or female.

Foster carers are also able to nominate the ages and genders of children they can care for.

To find out more please visit our Foster Caring webpage or fill in the EOI form below.
