About the event

Do you work with parents and carers in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne?

  • Connect with other professionals supporting parents in the Eastern Suburbs
  • Find out about programs supporting parents and carers in your area
  • Discuss gaps in service and how we can work together to meet these needs for families
  • Hear from guest speakers on numerous topics

Guest Speakers – ParentZone

ParentZone are the Regional Parenting Resource Centre for the Eastern Region. ParentZone are funded by the Department of Health and Human Services to provide parenting groups, peer support groups, one on one parenting support, consultation and training for professionals.

The current health advice has seen many professionals transition to working online. Instead of face to face support, we now must utilize SMS, chat-based app’s and teleconferencing apps like Skype and Zoom.

Our network has the opportunity to share innovative ideas and platforms to support families in new ways. ParentZone will demonstrate a variety of parent education activities via Zoom as we explore ways to be creative in our support to families and our approach to online groupwork.
