About the event

Information to help prepare yourself and your children for school starts and returns. For parents and caregivers of Primary aged children aged 4-12 years.

This two-hour information session gives practical advice and tips for parents and carers who are supporting children aged 4-12 starting or returning to primary school.

Topics and discussion include:

  • Practical ways to make school mornings easier
  • Ways to include your children in the processes including healthy snack ideas
  • Positive ways to encourage being involved in school readiness
  • anxiety and first days/week jitters
  • parental anxiety and grief for this next chapter
  • ways to decompress after the day
