About the event

Raising Expectations: Connecting young people with a care experience to post-school educational opportunities.

  • Caring for a young person thinking about  further study next year?
  • Do you feel equipped to support them to access TAFE or university?
  • Did you know care leavers have access to a range of financial and academic supports?

Raising Expectations is a collaboration between the community, education and government sectors in Victoria working to ensure all young people with an out-of-home care experience have the opportunity to access and thrive at TAFE or university post-high school.
Join Program Manager, Joanna Humphries, to learn about the services and supports offered to care leavers by Raising Expectations partners,
– La Trobe University,
– Federation University Australia and
– Swinburne University of Technology.
