About the event

FREE  Financial and Legal Health Checks

  • Need some options with paying outstanding loans?
  • Victorian energy rebate –  do you need help in getting it?
  • Need advice on a water, gas or electricity bills?
  • Have a legal problem with your bills?
  • Need help with debt management and payment plans?
  • Facing eviction or having rental or mortgage difficulties?
  • Require advice on family violence and intervention orders?
  • Need advice on infringements and fines less than $5000?

The day is about helping people who have legal or financial issues. Both Gippsland Community Legal Service and Anglicare’s Financial Counselling team members will be present as well as representatives from water companies and the Energy Ombudsman.
Also on hand will be people to help you look at the Victoria Energy Compare site and possibly help you get the $50 for looking at the cheaper energy comparison site.

 

REMINDER: Remember to bring your latest electricity bill.
