Healthy Together Achievement Program

Anglicare (Lalor and Preston sites) recently received a certificate for reaching significant milestones in the Healthy Together Achievement Program.

Whittlesea Mayor Stevan Kozmevski , joined Healthy Together Whittlesea partner Plenty Valley Community Health CEO Phillip Bain to present the certificate to Anglicare Area Director North Metro Region, Angela Deliyannis, and Family Services Practitioner, Rita Fernandez.

The collaborative work between the two Anglicare sites also involved Anglicare Preston Team Leader, Lauren Lloyd,  and Anglicare Lalor Senior Family Services Practitioner, Liz Rice. 

Anglicare recognises the importance of investing in the health and wellbeing of its staff to ensure a healthy and productive workforce. They are currently focused on implementing strategies that strengthen workplace culture as well as that encourage healthier eating and physical activity among staff.

The Healthy Together Achievement Program is coordinated by Cancer Council Victoria and supported locally by Healthy Together Whittlesea until 30 June 2016.
