There are some shocking statistics surrounding mental illness and young people in foster care.
Victoria’s most vulnerable and traumatised children are being denied access to mental health services, leading to a crisis of poor health, violence and suicide.
Anglicare Victoria recently submitted to the Royal Commission into Mental Health, providing research and recommendations on how to reduce mental illness and suicide rates in this extremely vulnerable group.
