  3. Complete Background Checks and Forms: Undergo necessary background checks and submit an application.
  4. Undergo Training: Complete 16 hours of foster care training either online or in person.
  5. Assessment: Anglicare Victoria attends your home for a comprehensive assessment interviews to ensure your home meets the criteria for fostering.
  6. Accreditation Panel Review: Your application will be evaluated by an accreditation panel before you become an accredited foster carers.
  7. Placement: Anglicare Victoria will contact you when a child or young person in your area requires foster care to see if you are happy to take a placement.
