Anglicare Victoria is deeply saddened by the passing of Fiona Richardson MP, a fearless champion in her mission to eliminate the devastating impact of family violence on our community.
Fiona was unwavering in her support of women and children who had survived family violence.
In her pioneering work as Victoria and Australia’s first Minister for the Prevention of Family Violence, she led a complete overhaul of the family violence system which will benefit generations to come.
Her legacy of reform will make an enormous positive difference to the lives of the many children and families Anglicare Victoria works with.
