Bringing Inclusivity to Every Corner

Imagine living at the ends of the earth, with no one around to talk to. No one to share your troubles with, or chat about the tiny everyday things you’re grateful for.

That’s what it can feel like if you’re a little different to the other people around you in a small town – and teens who identify as one of the many colours in the LGBTIQ+ rainbow can feel very alone.

QSpace is a therapeutic counselling partnership between Anglicare Victoria and Drummond Street Services. QSpace was set up to provide specialist health and mental health support for rainbow families.

QSpace exists to make sure that everyone in northern Victoria, no matter who they are, can have a safe space and the support they need to explore their identity. Our programs are designed, developed and delivered through a queer lens by people from LGBTIQ+ communities who understand the issues these communities face.

We foster partnerships with an extensive range of mental health and community sector services, healthcare providers (including hospitals), early childhood education providers, primary and secondary schools, as well as local government child and family, youth, and aged care services and programs.

There are five partnerships across the state, and no hoops to jump through – all you have to do is fill out a form and someone will be in touch.
