About Hayden*

Hayden is 11. He is an endearing, affectionate and likeable child. He loves being outdoors, as well as cuddling up on the couch and watching DVDs. Like boys his age he’s into his sport. Hanging out at the skate park, shooting hoops and riding his bike are some of his favourite activities.

How Can You Help?

Hayden needs a long-term foster family who can provide him with a safe and nurturing home on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond his control he can no longer live with his birth family. His experiences up to now have left him angry, frustrated and confused about where he belongs. Hayden needs to feel part of a family that can provide boundaries, guide and support him. His ideal foster family will need plenty of energy and take an active interest in doing activities with him that he enjoys.

What Kind of Difference Could You Make?

Hayden’s life has been overwhelmed by instability and trauma. He needs an insightful, kind and patient foster family who will put in place appropriate boundaries, but who will also accept him and make him feel safe, secure and wanted. We are ideally seeking a carers, who with Anglicare Victoria’s support, can guide him on how to express his feelings appropriately.

What Support Will You Receive?

  • Personalised around-the-clock support
  • Extensive training and skills development
  • Tax-free reimbursement: Approximately $1,400 per fortnight.
